The next drivers ed exemption test will be given here in the media center at 9am on Saturday September 5th. You must be 14 1/2 years of age and must pre-register at wncdrivingschool.com.
Students may not park in the gravel parking lot across from HMS or at the fieldhouse. The junior and senior parking areas are where you should be parking.
Good luck to the Volleyball team at Swain County tonight. The JV and Varsity players have an early dismissal today at 2:05 and should report to the middle school gym.
Students, this is a last reminder about cell phones before we begin enforcing this today. During class time cell phones need to be powered down and put in the wall pouches. This includes during individual work time, hallways, bathrooms, WIN and Advisory time. If class is in session, you may not have your phones out and teachers have been instructed to take them up and turn them in to the office. The cell phone ban in schools is a North Carolina state law and a Clay County Board of Education policy.
