North Carolina House Bill 959 was passed this summer and students are now banned from using cell phones during class time. What this means is that during any class period, students must power down their cell phones (not silenced) and keep them out of sight. Teachers may require students to keep their powered down phones stored in whatever way works for that class.
Any student who will be parking on campus needs to complete the Parking Permit form. There is no charge for student parking this year and they are available in the front office.
Any students who are interested in running for Student Council, email Mrs. Foley for an application. Applications are due by this Friday, August 29th.
If you’re ready to start Drivers Ed, the exemption test is being given here in the media center on Saturday September 13th at noon. Register for the exam at wncdrivingschool.com.
Remember, every student eats free. If you’re new and don’t have a lunch number yet, you can just tell them your name at the checkout register.
