Today we are spotlighting Brayden Garrett. Brayden was nominated by Mrs. Dockery for going above and beyond this year in band class. He has helped his section with music, and is always up for a new challenge. His hard work helps our band continue to grow.
There will be a Mens and Womens Wrestling Meeting during Breakfast break this morning in Mr. Modica’s room for anyone who is interested.
Tomorrow, all 10th grade students will be in testing in the morning for either the Pre-ACT or the CCRAA test. Sophomores, it’s important that you check the rosters posted by the front entrance and by Mrs. Hedden’s office so that you know where to go tomorrow morning.
Our Tri-County Liaison, Jena Szewczyk, will be here this Thursday and next Monday to help HHS students register for spring Tri-County classes and to answer any questions.
The makeup day for school photos for all students, including seniors, will be October 25th. This will be the last opportunity to have your photo taken for the yearbook.
Yearbook messages for seniors are still available; however, the price has increased this week. All messages are due to Mrs. Beck by October 31st. Also, senior quotes are due this Friday. Complete the senior quote Google form in your email, and you can email Mrs. Beck if you have questions.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes would like to invite everyone to come meet in the lecture hall each Thursday morning from 7:40 to 7:55. All are welcome, so please come join in for prayer and fellowship.
The Powder Puff football is this Thursday. Game 1 will be Seniors Vs. Freshman starting at 6pm. Followed by game 2 Sophomores vs. Juniors, and game 3 will be the winners’ bracket. Everyone is invited to attend. Come out and cheer on your class. There will be a $5 admission for anyone who is not participating in the games and you can make a donation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
