N.C Governor’s Page Program

-Ages 15-18

-Need to live in North Carolina’s Eleventh Congressional District

-One week on a volunteer basis

-Thirteen openings available for the week of

October 15-19, 2007.

-Needs to be in good academic standing at their schools

-Completed applications, two recommendations and a school transcript must be mailed and postmarked by September 14, 2007

-Applications are available in the Guidance Office

-One student will be selected from the applicants

 

Park Scholarship to NCSU

- 34 scholarships valued at $62,000 to North Carolina residents

-A stipend for the purchase of a personal computer is also provided along with additional funding for special trips, retreats, seminars and grant opportunities

-This scholarship is based on four factors: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character

-Two seniors can be nominated

-To be considered an Activity Sheet must be turned into Mrs. Nicholson by 3:00 p.m. on or before Sept. 19, 2007

 

National Young Leaders Conference

-Sophomores, juniors or seniors interested in a leadership conference

-Must demonstrate scholastic merit and leadership potential with a 3.5 GPA or higher

-Please let Mrs. Nicholson know if you are interested by September 20, 2007

 

Campbell University Professional Golf Management Visitation Day

-Monday November 12, 2007

-There is only space for 75 students to attend
