Coca Cola Scholarship

-50  $20,000 (4 yr. x $5,000) scholarship

-200 $4,000 (4 yr. x $1,000) Scholarship

-Applicants are evaluated on the following: demonstrated leadership in school; commitment to community; academic achievement; part-time employment

-Web based application is available on line at www.coca-colascholars.org

-Students MUST apply on line

-Applications must be received by

AXA Achievement Scholarship Program

 -One $10,000  winner per state

 -$15,000 additional scholarships to 10 national recipients

-Scholarships winners are known as AXA Achievers. They are ethnically and economically diverse, but they share these qualities:ambition and drive, determination to set and reach goals, respect for self, family and community and the ability to succeed in college

-First 12,000 applicants will be considered

Clemson University –Calhoun Honors College and National Scholars Program

-Starting 2007-2008 a separate application is required

-To qualify students must rank in the top 5 percent of their high school class and have combined SAT  scores of at least 1300 (critical reading and math only) or ACT  composite score of 30

-Application must be received by December 1, 2007 to be considered

-The average honors freshman class earned an average SAT of 1300 and a high school GPA of 3.9
