Seniors

Now is the time to be seriously considering life after high school. Please come by the guidance office and sign up for your senior conference. You should bring your activity sheet, recommendation letters, and completed college applications to the conference. Mrs. Nicholson will check these and answer any questions you may have. Parents are welcome to attend the senior conference.

Sophomores

All sophomores will be taking the PLAN on Wednesday, October 24, 2007. This pre-ACT test will give the students experience in taking a college entrance exam. Also, the test gives students who are exploring career options a good assessment of their possible choices. The test will last approximately four hours. It is free of charge to all HHS sophomores.

UNC-Chapel Hill Catalyst Program

-For 9-11 graders on February 29 – March 2, 2008

-$30 registration fee

-Free housing and food is provided

-Exploration of social issues affecting America's youth

-Must be received by November 20, 2007
