Mountain Lakes Board of Realtors Scholarship

-Must be going to 2 or 4 year accredited US college, university, community college, vocational or technical school as a full time student

-$1,000 scholarships to be awarded

-Criteria: strong moral character, academic achievement and potential success in college and a proven record of active participation in school activities, community/volunteer service and/or work experience           

-Essay required

-Postmarked by April 1, 2008

 

Phoenix Scholars

-Must attend 4 year accredited US college or university

-Criteria: strong moral character, academic achievement and potential success in college and a proven record of active participation in school activities, community/volunteer service and/or work experience.          

-Priority will be given to the following: Students seeking a major or a career path in Business or related fields

-Essay required

-Postmarked by March 31, 2008

 

Nantahala Scholars

-Must be going to 2 or 4 year accredited US college, university, community college, vocational or technical school as a full time student

-Criteria: strong moral character, academic achievement and potential success in college and a proven record of active participation in school activities, community/volunteer service and/or work experience

-Priority will be given to the following:

Students seeking a major or a career path in Natural Resources or related fields (forestry, wildlife biology, archeology, fisheries biology, etc.)

-Essay required

-Postmarked by March 31, 2008

 

Lee Ripper Scholars

-Must be going to 2 or 4 year accredited US college, university, community college, vocational or technical school as a full time student

-Criteria: strong moral character, academic achievement and potential success in college and a proven record of active participation in school activities, community/volunteer service and/or work experience

-Priority will be given to students with a proven record of community and volunteer service

-Essay required

-High school seniors who have an interest in a career in health care

-$1,750 renewable scholarship for tuition

-Financial need a consideration

-300-500 word essay

-Due to Mrs. Nicholson by March 31, 2008
