Mountain Arts Association Scholarship Fund

-Must be in pursuit of higher education as an art major

-$1,000 each for a Clay, Towns and Union County student

-Based primarily on artistic ability and creative talent, secondly on their academic performance and leadership

-Art portfolio and application must be postmarked by April 18, 2008

Blue Ridge Mountain EMC Washington Youth Tour

-June 12-19, 2008

-Juniors- one junior will be chosen

-Essay: Why would you like to represent Hayesville High School on the BRMECMC Youth Leadership tour to Washington, D.C.? (One age minimum)

-Due to Mrs. Nicholson by March 4, 2008

Congressional Student Leadership Conference

Any 9^th-12^th grade student who is interested in participating in the Congressional Student Leadership Conference please come by the guidance office to add your name to the nomination list. Your nomination is based on academic excellence and leadership potential. The conferences will be held in the summer in various states on various subject matters. The nominations are due March 21, 2008
