United States Military Academy- Summer Leaders Seminar 2008 at West Point

-Two sessions available: June 7-June 13 and June 14 - June 20

-Current juniors who are in the top fifth of their class, pursuing college preparatory curriculum

-Have strong PSAT scores

-Have demonstrated leadership potential by participation, election/selection to office, and honors earned in extracurricular and organized athletic activities

UNC Chapel Hill Merit Scholarships

-There are various merit scholarships available

-The selection process for merit scholarships is rigorous and multi-faceted

-No separate applications are needed except for the Pogue Scholarship

-Information is available in the Guidance Office

NC Society of Accountants Scholarship

-Must be resident of North Carolina

-Must enroll in an accredited school of higher education in North Carolina

-Must enroll in accounting degree program with six or more credit hours per semester

-Must show a firm intention to continue into the field of accounting

-$500 scholarship

-Due by April 15, 2008
