WELCOME BACK ! We are anticipating another great year for
scholarships and extracurricular activities. The guidance newsletter is a
necessity for seniors seeking scholarship opportunities. For the underclassmen,
the guidance newsletter will help you in finding activities related to your
academic and career interests. If you have any questions throughout the year,
please come by or call the guidance office @ 389-8628.
-This essay contest
offers 9th – 12th grade students and opportunity to
compete for a $3,000, $1,500 and $750 award.
-The essay will
address the topic: “Free exercise is an essential component of the First
Amendment’s definition of religious freedom. What did free exercise mean when
it was first ratified and became part of the Constitution? How is it
interpreted today? Is the free exercise or religion adequately protected in
America’s public schools today?”
