Welcome to my web page. My name is Heather Roper and this is currently my fifth year teaching. After graduating from Andrews High School in 2000, I then attended Mars Hill College where I received my Bachelor of Arts in History degree and teacher license. After college, I returned to Robbinsville High School where I have taught for the past four years. This is currently my first year at Hayesville High School.

This year I will be teaching Honors Civics and Economics, Civics and Economics, and Psychology. I look forward to showing the students how important they are to today's society and how their voice really does matter.

My husband Kevin and I have one child, Ansley. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, decorating cakes, and scrap booking. I also help coach the Hayesville High School Varsity Cheerleaders. I currently hold AACCA and NCSSE certifications in cheerleading.
