I chose Chemistry because I've always enjoyed the activity of science. Chemistry, and its related fields of geology and astronomy, offers insight into the world around us, but at the same time is so complex that it retains its aura of magic.

I teach mostly PE here at Hayesville, but all of my high school career I've taught chemistry, astronomy, and geology.

Hobbies: Spending time with my family. We like to travel.

Coaching duties: Head Football Coach

In addition to 22 years of high school teaching and coaching, I have 7 years of college football coaching experience, most recently at the United States Military Academy.

Family: Wife of 28 years, Terri; 2 sons: Ross, 11th grade and Carter, 9th grade
